Theresa Di Seta, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, NPD-BC, assistant director of student placements for partnership development and community health, was invited to be a guest speaker by the National Association of Hispanic Nurses, D.C. Metro Chapter on March 19.
During her lecture, "Nurses Leading Change: Advocacy, Legislative Testimony, and Building Stakeholder Support," she discussed the importance of nurse advocacy, legislative testimony, and effective strategies for building stakeholder support to advance the nursing profession. She also shared her journey of advocacy and coalition-building in working with her legislator to amend Maryland's health care preceptor tax credit.
