PHSR PhD Student Tien Tran Selected as ASCO Editorial Fellow
Third-year PhD student Tien Tran (Pharmaceutical Health Services Research, UMB School of Pharmacy) has been selected as an Editorial Fellow with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), serving on the editorial team of JCO Clinical Cancer Informatics. In this role, Tran will support the peer-review and editorial process, receive mentored training in scholarly publishing, and contribute to advancing rigorous methods and real-world evidence in cancer informatics. This appointment reflects Tran’s growing leadership at the intersection of oncology outcomes research, causal inference, and clinical data science.
