UMSON's University of Maryland Association of Nursing Students hosts student panel on externships.
The University of Maryland Association of Nursing Students (UMANS) hosted "Externship Insights: Student Panel" on Oct. 28. The panel discussion featured nursing students who have completed externships at local hospitals. These nursing students shared their experiences, lessons learned, and advice for students preparing to apply for externships.
The event provided resources for students, insight into opportunities, application tips, and networking. Panelists shared their own externship experiences and offered tips on making the most of the externship experience.
