Angela Henneberger and Bess Rose published a Manuscript on Dynamic School Contexts Using MLDS Data.

Drs. Henneberger and Rose, in collaboration with researchers at the University of Maryland, College Park, have published a new manuscript in Applied Developmental Science, "Capturing dynamic school contexts: An applied demonstration of multiple membership modeling," examines how changing school contexts shape students’ long-term outcomes. Using data from the Maryland Longitudinal Data System, the team demonstrates multiple membership modeling and compares it to traditional single membership multilevel approaches, highlighting important differences and emphasizing the importance of selecting analytic strategies that align with the research question, developmental theory, and the dynamic nature of school environments.
