Congratulations to UMSON's 2026 - 27 Dean's Teaching Scholars. 

The goal of the Dean’s Teaching Scholars Awards is to facilitate the development of research and programs that support nursing education. The awardees for the coming academic year include: 

  • Carissa Bragdon, DNP, ACNP-BC, CNE, assistant professor, and Caitlin Donis, PhD, MS ’13, AG-ACNP, AACNS-AG, assistant professor – S.A.I.L.: Set the Course, Anchor, Inspire and Lead
  • Carolyn Greely, DNP ’20, Cert ’20, CRNP, BSN, assistant professor, and Jessica Sullivan, DNP ’25, MS ’14, PMHNP-BC, assistant professor – R3 to 3P: Building Resilience in Graduate Nursing Students
  • Martine Kirwin, DNP, FNP-C, RN, assistant professor, and Tara Stoudt, DNP ’25MS '08, RNC-NIC, assistant professor – Student Peer Mentorship Project
