Karen E.B. Evans, DNP, RN, NAP, SD-LTC, RN-LTC, CLC, assistant professor and manager of legal affairs, recently co-authored an article published in Nurse Leader titled, "Unseen Influence of Nurses in Regulatory Agencies: Strategic Leadership for Nurse Executives."

The article highlights the critical yet often underrecognized role nurses play within regulatory agencies and explores how nurse leaders can leverage strategic leadership to influence health care policy, regulation, quality, and patient outcomes. Evans collaborated with an accomplished team of nurse leaders and scholars, including Teresa M.
