Linda-Jeanne Mack and Corey Shdaimah Receive Extended Grant Funding
Linda-Jeanne Mack, LICSW, LCSW-C, PhD Candidate and CJaE Fellow, and Dr. Corey Shdaimah, Daniel Thursz Distinguished Professor of Social Justice, received extended grant funding from the State of Maryland's Administrative Office of the Courts, Foster Care Court Improvement Program for their study Outcomes and Stakeholder Perspectives on Terminations of Parental Rights. Initially awarded for July 1st, 2026 - June 30th, 2026, funding has been extended until December 2026 totaling $99,388.07. This competitive funding supports advancing Linda-Jeanne's work exploring how families are impacted by child welfare decisions, like terminations of parental rights, across the lifespan.
