Lori Harris, BA, director of the Office of the Registrar and Student Placements, has been awarded the Collaborative Leadership Award from the Society of Clinical Placement Professionals (SCPP).
SCPP announced the recipients of its 2026 inaugural annual awards March 4, recognizing leaders whose work advances innovation, advocacy, collaboration, and sustained excellence in practice education nationwide.
Award recipients will be formally recognized at the 2026 SCPP Summit, April 23 - 24 at the organization's first in-person gathering in Baltimore.
“These awardees represent the very best of our profession,” said Abigail Smetana, EdD, MSN, summit co-chair. “Each of these leaders has elevated clinical placement work beyond logistics and into strategic systems. Their impact strengthens nursing education nationally and ensures we are building sustainable pathways for the next generation of nurses.”
The SCPP is a national organization advancing the clinical placement profession across all disciplines requiring experiential education. Through advocacy, education, networking and innovation, SCPP elevates the visibility and strategic impact of clinical placement professionals nationwide.
