CWA Trainer, Naeemah Staggs, Presents at Maryland DHS Affiliates Retreat.
Senior Training Specialist, Naeemah Staggs, represented the Child Welfare Academy at this year's Maryland DHS Affiliates Retreat. Naeemah facilitated two workshops: The Trevor Project's CARE (Suicide Prevention) training and Ethical Youth and Family Engagement. The two-day retreat was held on the picturesque Kent Island and focused on strategic planning, diversity, equity, inclusion, work ethics, and team building for child welfare Assistant Directors across the state.
