Clinical instructor and PhD student is named ACHNE's PhD Graduate Student of the Year.
Nikki Akparewa, MSN, MPH, RN, (pictured, right) clinical instructor and PhD student, was named the PhD Graduate Student of the Year by the Association of Community Health Nursing Educators at the organization's Annual Institute 2026: Beyond the Noise - Elevating Community/PHN through Evidence in Spokane, Washington, June 3 - 6.
She also presented a platform presentation at the event, "From Screens to Soil: The Public Health Nurse as Chief Health Strategist."
