Theresa Di Seta, DNP '25, RN, NEA‑BC, NPD‑BC, assistant director of student placements for partnership development and community health, served as a panelist for the plenary session, “Slow Talk Report: Humanizing Healthcare,” at the R3 State‑Wide Conference: Raise the Voices of Nurses and the Public, in Annapolis, Maryland, on April 28. She joined a conversation about listening, engagement, and lifting up voices and encouraged attendees to recognize how often they advocate in everyday conversations and how those skills can support meaningful change.
On April 24, Di Seta also presented at the Society of Clinical Placement Professionals Annual Summit, held at UMSON, offering reflections on her legislative journey and how clinical placement professionals (CPPs) can use their own experiences to advocate for the profession. Her session emphasized the importance of elevating the role of CPPs in organizational and state‑level policy conversations.
