Bindon and Corbin presented “From Surviving to Thriving: A New Nursing Faculty Residency Program.” Their session highlighted a structured approach to supporting new nursing faculty through skill development, reflection, and coaching. Built around confidence, competence, connection, and contribution, the program supports faculty as they develop their educator identities and build community.

Daniels represented UMSON's Debra L. Spunt Clinical Simulation Labs in presenting the annual Debra Spunt Lectureship award to this year's distinguished educator that has demonstrated a career of excellence and innovation in simulation-based teaching, scholarship, and leadership.

Weston and Fernandez-Dizon presented “Equity in Emergencies: Preparing Nurses for Disability-Inclusive Response.” Their session explored strategies for integrating disability-inclusive emergency preparedness into nursing curricula through simulation, community partnerships, and universal design, helping prepare future nurses to address the disproportionate risks people with disabilities face during emergencies.

UMSON’s participation reflects the School’s continued commitment to continuous faculty development, simulation excellence, and preparing nurses to provide equitable, person-centered care.
