He joined Perioperative Services in 2001 as a surgical technologist in the General Operating Rooms and concurrently completed a nursing program to become a registered nurse. Advancing through roles as a clinical nurse and senior clinical nurse, Tommy then assumed responsibility for the Service Line Coordination for Orthopaedics. He has served as Assistant Nurse Manager and Interim Manager and has been integral to many of the management initiatives underway within Perioperative Services.”
