Associate professor named fellow by Gerontological Society of America.


Amanda Lehning, PhD, associate professor, University of Maryland School of Social Work, has been named a fellow by the Gerontological Society of America (GSA), the world’s oldest and largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to research, education, and practice in the field of aging.

 

GSA fellow status — the highest class of membership — is an acknowledgment of outstanding and continuing work in the field of gerontology. The society will honor Lehning and other new fellows at its 71st Annual Scientific Meeting in Texas in November.
