Dorsey appointed chair of the National Institute of Nursing Research Initial Review Group.
Susan G. Dorsey, PhD '01, MS '98, RN, FAAN, professor and chair, Pain and Translational Symptom Science, has been appointed chair of the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) Initial Review Group (NRRC) by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), for the July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021 term.
The NRRC review group is the grant review group convened by NINR three times annually to review training grants for the institute. As chair, Dorsey's responsibilities include organizing the meeting, summarizing each application for the group discussion, and ensuring that the review is fair and unbiased.
