Wendy Shaia, EdD, MSW, clinical assistant professor and executive director of the Social Work Outreach Service (SWCOS), and Sarah Dababnah, PhD, MPH, MSW, assistanf professor, recently published an article with PhD graduate Helen Nichols, MSW/MPH student Nicole Garbarino, and MSW graduate Karen Campion.
The article, “Brief Report: Participation of Black and African-American Families in Autism Research,” appeared in Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders and focused on ways to increase the participation of black and African-American families in autism research.
