Veronica Quattrini

Assistant professor and director part of an 'American Nurse Journal's' All Pro Nursing Team.

Veronica Quattrini, DNP, MS '99, BSN '95, FNP-BC, assistant professor and senior director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice program, was a part of the American Nurse Journal's first runner-up team for All Pro Nursing Teams.

Quattrini served as a member of the University of Maryland Medical Center's COVID-19 Screening Hotline team, which was honored as first runner-up. She was recruited to this role to help UMMC's Procedure Readiness Evaluation and Preparation (PREP) Center with the COVID-19 Hotline.

The PREP Center, which under normal conditions performs histories and physicals for pre-operative patients, was redeployed as an employee screening hotline when all elective procedures were halted. In addition to creating standard policies and procedures for sick and exposed employees, the team built a 24/7 schedule to support the hotline within two days.
