Join us in our effort to make this holiday season a special one for the families of West Baltimore. The University of Maryland, Baltimore's (UMB) Office of Community Engagement and Staff Senate and The Foundry, a local church, have partnered to meet the specific needs of our community members this holiday season. The purpose of the Christmas Store is to provide families a unique opportunity to purchase gifts at a reduced price so every parent can experience the joy of giving and be the heroes of their Christmas.
Here’s how you can help:
- Help us reach our 2,000-toy goal
- Make a donation
- Purchase an item from our Amazon Registry or Target Registry
- Gift your time. We need volunteers to make the Christmas Store a success.
- Shifts available: Thursday, Dec. 8, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Friday, Dec. 9/Saturday, Dec. 10, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Spread the word to your network
Your donation will support UMB's partnership with The Foundry, which will host the Christmas Store at the UMB Community Engagement Center on Dec. 9-10.
