January 10, 2023The Law & Health Care Program at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law invites you to join us as we welcome Michele Oberman, JD, MPH, the Katharine and George Alexander Professor of Law, Santa Clara University School of Law, as our first spring 2023 Rothenberg Speaker Series guest. Oberman will be sharing her presentation "Against Silence: Doctors’ Risks, Rights, and Ethical Obligations When Providing Abortion Information."
Oberman is an internationally recognized scholar on the legal and ethical issues surrounding adolescence, pregnancy, and motherhood. Her background in public health and law, as well as her long years of work with doctors in health care settings, gives her a unique perspective on women’s health issues arising at the intersection of health law and criminal law.
