Are you a Baltimore City or Baltimore County resident? Do you love trees? Help the city and county increase their tree canopy!

Blue Water Baltimore has partnered with the Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability (EPS), TreeBaltimore, the Department of Public Works (DPW), and Stillmeadow Community Fellowship to offer county and city residents a variety of trees from small flowering and fruiting trees to large canopy trees to plant in your front or back yard.

This event takes place Saturday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Pickup will be at the Stillmeadow Community Fellowship. Pre-registration is not required, but recommended. Trees will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for those who did not pre-register. The pre-registration form to sign up for a free tree will be posted on Blue Water Baltimore's event page Oct. 22, two weeks before the event. Blue Water Baltimore is also looking for volunteers for this event.

For more information on the event, pre-registering information, and to sign up to volunteer, go to Blue Water Baltimore's event page.
