Spring day with blue skies and butterflies

Please join URecFit and Wellness in collaboration with the Student Counseling Center and NAMI@UMB as we celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Week, Feb. 13-19. Studies show that acts of kindness not only benefit others, but help improve our immune system functions, decrease stress, increase feelings of meaning and purpose, and can foster a sense of connectedness.

How can you get involved?

  • Follow us on Instagram throughout the week for tips and ideas for how to demonstrate random acts of kindness.
  • Join our Kindness Letter Writing Campaign
    • Volunteer to write a letter to be mailed to Love For Our Elders
    • Pick up free note cards and a kind bar at one of our Kindness Letter Campaign Stations.
    • Make a card for someone who you appreciate. Tell them what makes them special, how they brighten your day, or that they are doing a great job.
