Intended Audience: Higher education staff and faculty serving students in health professions education
The objectives of this conference are to:
- Understand the importance and lived experiences of first generation to college students in health professions education
- Identify strategies for supporting first generation to college health professions’ students through visibility awareness, career development, and mentoring.
- Consider strategies for participants to understand and improve or develop their own institutional first generation to college initiatives in the health professions.
