SSW Awarded Grant for the Grand Challenges for Social Work

The University of Maryland School of Social Work received a grant of $100,000 to help build the Grand Challenges Fellows to Build Social Work's Scientific Pipeline. Building on 10 years of effort — hosted by the University of Maryland — of hundreds of social work scholars and practitioners, this award is the first foundation award. The funding will provide $3,000 fellowships for PhD or DSW students whose work aligns with the 13 Grand Challenges.
