UMB Career Essentials is a series of classes covering skills that managers and supervisors are looking for in employees. Whether you are a new employee just getting started on your career or several years into your career journey, communication, critical thinking, decision making, teamwork, equity and inclusion, time management, and organization are career skills needed now to be successful.
This next series is focused on the electives for the program. The electives start Aug. 2 with Managing Email; Aug. 16, Time Management; Sept. 1, Giving and Receiving Effective Feedback; Sept. 14, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving; Sept. 29, Dealing With Conflict; and Oct. 11, Working With Difficult People. You can register for one or all of the classes.
