The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is now receiving student applications for the ANCC Student Practicum Program for the fall 2023 semester.
This non-clinical program is for students pursuing a master's, DNP, or PhD degree with a nursing leadership focus. The number of placements each semester is limited and varies depending on availability of preceptors and appropriate match to meet course requirements and student interest. We typically receive more applications than placements available. Currently, practicum experiences are being conducted remotely, with interaction via email, phone, and video. However, limited onsite engagement may be possible.
Only complete applications submitted via the online form will be considered.

Timeline for Fall 2023 ANCC Student Practicum Program
- July 10- Aug. 6: Applications received through online form
- Aug. 7-Sept. 1: Application review process
- Sept. 5-8: Final notification letters emailed to students
- Sept. 11-15: Practicum experience begins
