The UMBrella Group

Three words you never want to utter: coulda, woulda, shoulda.

Find the professional, job, or career development program that will strengthen your job skills, boost your work confidence, and advance your contribution to the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) mission and apply for an UMBrella scholarship to help achieve your vision.

Consistent with the UMB core values, a limited number of professional and job development scholarships are being made available to help support employees in good standing who are full-time, exempt, and non-exempt UMB women and colleagues who identify as women.

Scholarships, ranging from $100-$2,500, may support all or a portion of the costs of registration, training, and development programs, books and manuals, and general educational development (GED).

Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Scholarship travel and accommodations are not covered. Apply by 11:59 p.m. Feb. 21, 2023.

Please visit the UMBrella Group at www.umaryland.edu/umbrella for further details, the application, and additional requirements.
