Focus on Precision Medicine and Learning Health Systems

Date has been extended to May 6.

The University of Maryland School of Medicine is hosting a spring symposium to showcase ongoing research across the wider University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) campus. This event at 8:30 a.m. May 31 dovetails with the recently launched Institute for Health Computing (UM-IHC), a partnership of UMB, the University of Maryland, College Park, and the University of Maryland Medical System. UM-IHC is exploring novel computational and analytical methods to improve the health and quality of life for all citizens of Maryland. The current Call for Abstracts welcomes research submissions that relate broadly to computational science in biomedicine, precision medicine, novel approaches to clinical trials or population health studies, and learning health systems.

Accepted abstracts will be chosen for a poster presentation.
