The Elm

We will host the School of Social Work Art and Literature Exhibit on the fifth floor of the main UMB SSW building at 525 West Redwood Street in Baltimore in Fall 2023. 

 

Accepting all art and writing submissions from the SSW community, both UMB and UMBC, including students (current and alumni), staff, faculty, and board members.

 

We are inviting submissions from all of you in the following four categories:

 

·         Photography – such as landscape, people, street, art, nature/wildlife

·         Visual Art – such as painting, drawing, illustration, digital, mixed

·         Varied Art - such as sculpture, jewelry, textiles, wood, clay, glass

·         Writing – poetry and short stories

 

All submissions will be considered for inclusion in the exhibit in a blind peer review process. This is the link to access the submission portal. 

 

This submission portal will be open until November 1, 2023 at midnight.
