A new campaign this fall will introduce our University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) community to UMB Police and Public Safety.
The department extends far beyond the police and security officers you see each day. Public Safety's nearly 200 employees include administrative staff, quartermaster, records managers, training and education, community outreach programs, and more.
Each week, a new member of UMB Police and Public Safety will be highlighted on digital displays across campus and on our social media (@PoliceUMB on Facebook, Twitter (X), and Instagram). The campaign includes quotes from featured employees that provides a look into the work they do each day. We will also highlight a different safety tip each week.
