We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to all of you who took the time to contribute your insights and feedback. Your involvement is integral to our mission of shaping the future of work at UMB to best serve our community.
Our Future of Work Task Force, comprised of a diverse group of staff and faculty representatives, has worked diligently to synthesize the feedback received. Our current focus is on translating our community’s thoughts and concerns into comprehensive recommendations that align with our University's strategic goals and objectives.
We anticipate submitting these recommendations to University leadership very soon. These recommendations will serve as the foundation for strategies to enhance the working and learning environment, focusing on areas such as flexible work policies, flexible scheduling, professional development opportunities, and technology upgrades, among others.
In our ongoing commitment to transparency and inclusion, we will ensure that our findings, recommendations, and any resulting strategic changes are communicated broadly. Please look out for future updates via email, through The Elm, and during presidential town hall meetings.
