Please join the Student Counseling Center for a galaxy meditation session on Sept. 5 from 12-1 p.m. Research has shown that mindfulness meditation can reduce stress, as well as symptoms of depression, anxiety, sleep disturbance, and pain. Students are invited to drift off under the simulated stars for a drop-in hour of meditation on the first floor of the SMC Campus Center, Room 115. Optional guided meditation beginning at 12:10 p.m. and 12:30 p.m.
