In connection with the University of Maryland, Baltimore's Founders Week events, nominations are being accepted for the Student of the Year Award through July 14. It is important to recognize the outstanding contributions our students make to our University and the community at large.

Individuals from the Student Affairs Dean's Offices within each school will serve as the champions charged with preparing the materials for their student nominees. The champion should address the award criteria, which includes the student's demonstrated leadership and impact through formal or informal roles, their academic excellence, and advancement of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice.

We encourage individuals to consult with their Student Affairs Dean's Office to suggest student nominees.
