The Maryland Department of Health Office of Population Health Improvement is pleased to announce that the Maryland Loan Repayment Programs (MLRP) have been expanded. Thanks to broadened legislative authority and greater state and federal resources, the 2023 MLRP application cycle will accept applications from an expanded pool of health care professionals, including full and part-time physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and nursing support staff.
In exchange for service obligations, providers and support staff can earn loan repayment awards from $5,000 - $100,000, depending on licensure.
The 2023 application will be open March 1 - April 15, with application documents posted prior to the cycle opening.
