The Nursing Foundation of Maryland is offering 11 scholarships this year, and applications are now being accepted through Aug. 27.
The scholarships will be awarded at the Maryland Nurses Association 120th Annual Convention in Ocean City, Oct. 12 - 13. Although scholarship recipients are encouraged to attend the convention, it is not mandatory.
Scholarships are awarded to those demonstrating scholarship, community service, commitment to, and potential for, leadership in nursing.
Available Scholarships:
- Ruth Hans Scholarship: $500
- Maryland General Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae Association Education Scholarship: $1,000
- Travis Nursing Scholarship: $500
- The Maryland Association of Associate Degree Nursing Directors Scholarship: $500
- Shauna Parker Memorial Scholarship : $1,000
- The Arthur L. Davis Scholarship: $1,000
- Necessary Wellness Scholarship: $500
- Nursing Foundation of Maryland Scholarships: $1,000
- District 2 Scholarship: $1,000
