Information on recruitment for a brief survey examining providers' preferences for osteoporosis screening & Tx. Seeking US healthcare providers to participate in a 10-minute survey!

This internet-based survey includes multiple-choice and open-ended questions that gather information about your knowledge and preferences when providing osteoporosis screening and treatment to individuals age 65 and older. Duration is less than 10 minutes.

You may qualify for this research if you are:

  • currently providing direct patient care to any patients ages 65 and older
  • an active and licensed MD, DO, NP, PA, PT, RN, etc. in the United States

Your participation is entirely voluntary, and you may stop responding to the survey anytime. Your participation in this study will include completing one internet-based survey.

Responses will be confidential, de-identified, and only presented in aggregate (e.g., the P.I.'s dissertation, peer-review scientific abstracts, and scientific or health/social policy publications). Participation has minimal risks, including the loss of privacy or a breach of confidentiality. We will minimize these risks by not collecting your name or location. In addition, exposure to risks is limited by 1) a secure, encrypted virtual private network (VPN) connection; and 2) the use of password and dual authentication-protected electronic devices (i.e., laptops and cellphones) for the collection, storage, and access of data. You will not benefit from your participation in this study. However, this study will further our understanding of health care providers' role in osteoporosis screening and treatment. You will not be compensated for your participation.
