The Inaugural LEAPS Symposium: “Fostering Inclusive Teaching and Learning Environments”

This event will include a keynote presentation, interactive sessions on inclusive teaching and learning approaches, and recognition of UMB distinguished educators and instructional innovation seed grant award winners.
Lunch will be provided.

Faculty and staff may propose a session for the symposium through Feb. 24, 2023; it will be peer-reviewed and decided upon by March 10, 2023.
Authors are invited to submit abstracts for interactive sessions related to advances and best practices that promote inclusive education, learning, and assessment.
Abstracts should possess impact in the following areas:
- education and technology
- simulations and standardized patients
- evidence-based assessments
- active learning for belonging
- curriculum design
