AACN is coming to UMSON Sept. 26 and 27
Come and learn from AACN Essentials Coaches and experts from the Competency-Based Education Network (C-BEN) and accelerate UMSON's transition to the Essentials.
Attendees to the AACN CBE Regional Workshop will gain access to practical tools that will help you transform teaching methods and curriculum. Sessions are carefully crafted to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully navigate the move to competency-based education (CBE).
The workshop will cover a wide range of topics, including:
- an introduction to CBE and its benefits
- comparison of CBE to traditional teaching and learning
- methods for approaching one's faculty role as a coach
- and insights on how CBE improves clinical judgment and prepares nurse graduates for practice.
