As a reminder, Environmental Services (EVS) at UMB no longer provides shredding services to the campus. There are two options for responsibly disposing of sensitive materials:
- Utilize UMB’s contract with The Shredding Company; a pricing and service options sheet with contact information can be found on the Strategic Sourcing and Acquisition Services website
- Utilize a personal shredding device; use liners to collect shredded paper; and place full bags to the side of paper/cardboard bins for collection by EVS custodial technicians
For bulk disposal of regular, nonsensitive paper documents that do not need shredding, please place a work request for a recycling toter via the UMB Facilities Work Request Portal.
