Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to register for the "Room to Grow: Journey to Cultural and Linguistic Competency" virtual conference which will take place Tuesday, Sept. 19, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Hosted by the Kenedy Kreiger Institute, the conference brings national speakers to present on the latest research and practice related to addressing and reducing socially determined health disparities. The Room to Grow conference provides continuing education credits, and features interactive seminars for trainees, residents, students, faculty, administrators and community members.
The conference is free for students and community members; $175 for clinical and administrative professionals. Continuing education credits are available for physicians, social workers, nursing (pending), and psychologists (pending).
