All Gifts Count, which has become a longstanding tradition at the University of Maryland School of Social Work, takes place in March to coincide with the school’s Homecoming as well as National Social Work Month.  

To honor this 10-year milestone, a campaign goal of securing 100 donors was set. Dr. Bethany Lee, director of the school’s PhD Program, also provided a match for gifts to the PhD Program to support international doctoral students. The results are in, and 139 donors rose to the occasion and contributed $22,448, which will be used to support:

  • impactful initiatives and resources for international doctoral students;
  • immediate needs that impact students and the school;
  • increasing J.E.D.I (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) initiatives;
  • advancing research;
  • offering scholarship assistance;
  • and expanding community outreach programs.
