January 02, 2024
The University of Maryland School of Social Work’s (UMSSW) Center for Restorative Change is now in its second year of implementation of the Rise Early Learning and Family Support Center.
It is with great excitement that we announce a second year of funding from the Maryland Family Network in the sum of $330,000 to continue this amazing endeavor.
Rise is part of a network of family support centers throughout Maryland launched under the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future. Family support centers (noted as Patty Centers in the blueprint) is the first pillar of the blueprint and lifts up the academic benefits of pre-K education and expands full-day pre-K access.
Rise will work in partnership with families throughout Baltimore City building critical life and cognitive skills for children and families.
