Calling all University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) students — get ready to kick off an incredible academic year!
Presented by UMB Student Affairs, Fall Kick-Off is the annual event series where students from all seven UMB schools come together to discover what it means to call Baltimore and UMB home. Whether you’re a new or returning student, you are invited to eat local food, meet new friends, engage in inclusive conversations, and discover valuable campus resources — 100% free.
Campus Involvement Fair
This year we’re partnering with the University Student Government Association (USGA) for our Campus Involvement Fair. On Friday, Sept. 15, join over 50 student organizations, campus departments, and local nonprofits on the School of Nursing lawn, and find your place outside of the classroom. There will be music, free UMB swag, and free food.
This social space is for students to meet new friends, chat with universitywide student organizations, and treat themselves to free concessions. Please note concessions are for current UMB students only. Students must show their student ID (One Card) for a concession ticket.

Mingle with other international students; learn how tech can help you academically; earn Poe Cup points playing FIFA 22; understand how you can make a positive impact in Baltimore; get a midweek wellness boost; connect with other students over coffee; or take in the fresh air with an afternoon 5K.
