Kicking off on Feb. 13, the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law announced a one-week fundraising initiative — Maryland Carey Law Gives. With an ambitious goal of $50,000, law school alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends were invited throughout the week to show their love and pride for Maryland Carey Law as the school prepares the next generation of advocates and leaders in the law.
Thanks to the support of 136 donors, the school exceeded its goals and raised over $63,000 that will benefit its students, faculty, clinics, and programs.
