man in front of a bridge

Luke Cooper, JD, MBA, UMB's President's Distinguished Scholar, sits down with "The Bridge" to discuss his drive to build a fund to help minority business owners have a piece of the sustainable economic pie.

Don't be surprised if you see Cooper, a venture capitalist, in Baltimore shooting hoops with the neighborhood guys or in a board meeting with the president of UMB. His ambition to never settle has earned him the right to shine in both places. Cooper believes financial literacy and application are tools that every minority business owner should have.
