Three costumed students from UMSOD Dental Hygiene pass out candy to youth attending the 2022 Trick or Treat with UMB! event.

The University of Maryland (UMB) Community Engagement Center will be hosting our second annual Trick or Treat event at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 27 to close our "Spookapalooza: A Week of Halloween at the CEC!"

Come join us for a delightful and spooky afternoon of giving back to our West Baltimore community. Community members will be able to trick their way through more than 20 booths of delicious treats, and enjoy games, crafts, scavenger hunts, a Halloween raffle, and more!

There are two ways to volunteer:

1. Run a Trick or Treat table

Student and employee groups can sign up to reserve a Trick or Treat table at the event. Decorate your table to create a truly spooktacular display, then hand out some delicious treats to the little ghosts and ghouls that come out to play! A 3x6 rectangular table and two chairs will be provided, but each group is responsible for bringing their own candy/treats, decorations, and any additional seating. Costumes are optional, but encouraged.

2. Sign up for a volunteering role
