Are you in the LGBTQIA+ community and seeking a welcoming space where you can connect with others who understand your experiences?
Well look no further. The UMB Student Counseling Center (SCC) will begin a monthly online discussion group for all UMB students in the LGBTQIA+ community. The monthly discussion group is thoughtfully designed to provide a safe space for students to explore their identities and share their concerns.
Led by SCC trained providers also in the community, the sessions are drop-in friendly, and students are not expected to attend regularly. There is no need for an appointment or direct service from the SCC to participate. This group allows students in the LGBTQIA+ community to gather, engage, be heard, and find the support and understanding they have been looking for.
