The University of Maryland Surgery Center in Columbia has been ranked the No. 2 Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Maryland by Newsweek in its "America's Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers 2025" list. We also received a special acknowledgment of Standout Specialty in Orthopedics.
More than 5,000 ASCs were rigorously evaluated on key criteria including quality of care, patient experience, performance data, and peer recommendations, and only 650 made this year's list. Congratulations to the UM Surgery Center team!
