The words

Black History Month is an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the profound historical and present-day legacies Black Americans and members of the African Diaspora have had on American society.

Through the events listed below, we hope you can join the Intercultural Center in honoring and uplifting Black culture and history at UMB!

Black and African Diaspora Community Social Hour

Feb. 26  | 12-1 p.m. | Room 210 B, SMC Campus Center | Register here for Feb. 26

Come celebrate Black History Month with food, music, and opportunities to connect and build community! The Intercultural Center will also be handing out special Black History Month stickers to generate pride and support for UMB's Black students, staff, and faculty as well as to celebrate UMB's allies and committed changemakers.

Students, faculty, and staff, let your voice be heard!
