The State of Maryland’s annual charitable workplace giving program, the Maryland Charity Campaign (MCC), celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and will run until Dec. 13. This annual program offers state employees the opportunity to contribute to charities that are meaningful to them through payroll deduction or one-time credit card gift.

This year’s MCC theme is Making a Difference Together.

As a state employee, your everyday work makes a difference and supports Maryland’s citizens and its neighbors in countless ways, and you’re not alone. The nonprofit community is with you, every step of the way.

The generosity of employees and retirees who give through the MCC offers hope for charities as well as those who depend on their services. By donating to causes you love through the MCC, you not only support charities that matter to you personally — you also strengthen the sector, your community, and the world at large.

Nearly 900 charitable organizations are taking part this year and are available for viewing in the 2024 Giving Guide.

Contributions can be made through the convenience of payroll deduction or a one-time gift. Click here to get started.

NOTE: The campaign will run until Dec. 13 but consider giving early for a chance to win one of several weekly MCC prizes!
