Dear Colleagues,
UMB Childcare Grant applications for the next fiscal year (payments to begin in July 2022) are now open. The UMB Child Care Grant will help eligible employees pay for qualifying, work-related childcare.
Applications for the taxable, need-based grant will be accepted starting today until May 29. Once reviewed, Central HR will notify employees if they have been selected.
Qualifying childcare expenses for the program include:
- Licensed day care centers
- Family child care homes
- Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten Aged Care (2 years to 5 years)
- Individual caregivers i.e. a neighbor, friend, or relative
- Before School OR After School care up to age 12
- Combined before/after school care up to age 12
- Summer care up to age 12
